Biography
Jan Hooks, also credited as Janet Vivian Hooks, was an American actress and comedian. She was a repertory player on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1986 to 1991, and made occasional cameo appearances until 1994.
After leaving the show she took a regular role on the final two seasons of Designing Women. Her other television work included a recurring role as Vicki Dubcek on 3rd Rock from the Sun and guest appearances on 30 Rock. Film roles included Jen in Batman Returns (1992), Tina in Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985), and Gladys Johnson in Coneheads (1993). She also provided voice work on The Simpsons and Futurama.
