Biography
Jessica Hecht is an American actress. She was born on 28 June 1965 in Princeton, New Jersey. She attended Connecticut College before graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in drama in 1987.
Hecht is known for her recurring television roles as Susan Bunch in Friends (1994–2000) and Gretchen Schwartz in Breaking Bad (2008–2013). She appeared as Victoria in the film Sideways (2004) and as Carol Mannheim in The Boys (2019). Her stage work includes Broadway productions, for which she received Tony Award nominations for A View from the Bridge (2010), Summer, 1976 (2023) and Eureka Day (2025). She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her role in the series Special.
