Biography
Jim Burke is an American film producer. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was a founding member of Rysher Entertainment. He later served as President of Production at Focus Features and was President of Ad Hominem Enterprises, a production company shared with Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor.
Burke has produced or co-produced films including Kingpin (1996), Election (1999), Walking Tall (2004), The Descendants (2011), Cedar Rapids (2011), Downsizing (2017) and Green Book (2018). He received an Academy Award for Best Picture as one of the producers of Green Book.
