Biography

Jim Piddock is an English actor, writer and producer. Born in Rochester, Kent, he trained at Drama Studio London and graduated from King’s College, London University with a degree in English literature. He began his career on stage in the UK before moving to the United States in his early twenties, where he made his US theatrical debut in the one-man show The Boy’s Own Story.

Piddock has appeared in numerous films and television series. His film credits include Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), Independence Day (1996), Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002), The Prestige (2006) as Prosecutor, and several Christopher Guest ensemble comedies such as Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003) and For Your Consideration (2006). He has also worked as a writer and producer on projects including Mascots (2016), which he co-wrote and co-starred in, and the 2013 series Family Tree.
