Biography
Jimi Mistry is a British actor. He was born on 1 January 1973 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, and trained at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama.
He first gained attention for his role as Tariq Khan in the 1999 film East Is East. Subsequent film credits include The Guru (2002), Ella Enchanted (2004), Blood Diamond (2006), RocknRolla (2008), Exam (2009) and 2012 (2009).
On television he has appeared in EastEnders, Strike Back, Coronation Street and The Syndicate. His screen career spans 1996 to 2015.
