Biography
Jimmy Lindsey ASC is an American cinematographer. He holds a bachelor's degree in film production and history from the University of Texas and began working in the camera department, developing his craft on sets alongside established directors of photography.
Early credits include camera operator on Sin City (2005), Death Proof (2007) and Planet Terror (2007). As director of photography his work includes Machete (2010), Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011), the HBO series Veep (2012), Limitless (2015), Star Trek: Picard (2020–2022) and the Apple TV+ series Physical. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding cinematography for a single-camera series (half-hour) in 2024.
Lindsey is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers, the International Cinematographers Guild and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
