Biography
Jodi Benson is an American actress and singer. Born Jodi Marie Marzorati on 10 October 1961 in Rockford, Illinois, she is best known for voicing Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid (1989) and its sequels and spin-offs, and for voicing Barbie in Toy Story 2 (1999) and Toy Story 3 (2010).
She has provided voices for other Disney projects including Flubber (1997), Enchanted (2007) and Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018). Benson was named a Disney Legend in 2011. Her stage work includes Broadway roles such as in Crazy for You.
