Biography
Joey Ansah is a British actor, martial artist, stuntman and director. Born on 24 November 1982 in London, he is the son of Ghanaian fashion designer Kofi Ansah.
Ansah is known for his role as the assassin Desh Bouksani in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), for which he performed his own stunts in an extended fight sequence with Matt Damon. He received a nomination for an MTV Movie Award for Best Fight. His other film credits include uncredited or minor roles in Batman Begins (2005), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) and The Old Guard (2020).
He has also worked behind the camera on Street Fighter projects, co-writing, directing and choreographing the short film Street Fighter: Legacy (2010) and the series Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist (2014), in which he played Akuma.
