Biography
John Ales is an American actor born on 3 January 1969 in Los Angeles, California. He trained as a Meisner actor and began his career in the 1980s.
He is known for film roles including Kabul in Spy Hard (1996), Jason in The Nutty Professor (1996) and its 2000 sequel, and Leo in American Fiction (2023). Television credits include the series You Wish (1997–1998), David Vaughn in Euphoria (2019–2022), Bruce Maddox in Star Trek: Picard (2020), and appearances in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015–2016) and The Good Doctor (2019). He is married to actor Wendy Gazelle.
