Biography

John Frankish is a British production designer and art director. Born in Uxbridge, Middlesex, he has worked extensively in film and television art departments since the 1980s.

He has served as art director or supervising art director on films including Chocolat (2000), Gosford Park (2001), X-Men: First Class (2011), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) and The Mummy (2017). His production design credits include Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) and The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025).

Frankish has received one win and one nomination for his work in art direction.
