Biography
John Henshaw is an English actor. Born in Manchester, he worked as a refuse collector for ten years before beginning his acting career at the age of 40.
His early break came in the Channel 4 series G.B.H. (1991). He is known for television roles including Ken Dixon in Early Doors (2003–2004), Wilf Bradshaw in Born and Bred (2002–2005) and PC Roy Bramwell in The Cops (1998–2001), as well as Roger Kavanagh in The Royle Family (2000). Film credits include Looking for Eric (2009), The Angels' Share (2012), Stan & Ollie (2018) and The Keeper (2018).
Henshaw has served as director of the 24:7 Theatre Festival in Manchester and is a patron of the Ancoats Dispensary Trust.
