Biography
John Terry is an American actor born on 25 January 1950 in Vero Beach, Florida. He began his career in local theatre before moving to Alaska, where he co-founded a river rafting company. At the age of 30 he relocated to New York City to pursue acting full time.
Terry's film roles include Lt. Lockhart in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (1987) and Felix Leiter in the James Bond film The Living Daylights (1987). He is also known for playing Slim in Of Mice and Men (1992) and Dr. Christian Shephard in the television series Lost (2004–2010). His daughter, Hanna Terry, is a professional footballer.
