Biography
Jonas Rivera is an American film producer at Pixar Animation Studios. He joined the studio in 1994 as its first production intern, working on Toy Story, and later held roles including production manager on Cars (2006). He produced Up (2009), Inside Out (2015) and Toy Story 4 (2019).
Rivera graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in film production. He grew up in Castro Valley, California. Up, Inside Out and Toy Story 4 each won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature; Up was also nominated for Best Picture. As of 2022 he serves as executive vice president for film production at Pixar.
