Biography
Jonathan Alwyn was a British television director and producer. Born in London on 10 October 1930, he directed episodes of series including The Avengers (1961) and Public Eye (1965). He also directed for Mystery and Imagination (1966), The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes (1971) and later series such as Enemy at the Door (1978) and Juliet Bravo (1980).
Alwyn was the son of composer William Alwyn. He was married to Pamela Jackson from 1957 until her death in 2018. He died on 29 August 2021.
