Biography
Joseph Cross is an American actor and producer. Born on 28 May 1986 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he began his career as a child actor, appearing in the 1998 films Desperate Measures, Wide Awake and Jack Frost.
From 1999 to 2004 he starred as Casey Hughes in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. He later played Augusten Burroughs in Running with Scissors (2006), for which he won the Satellite Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture, and appeared in Flags of Our Fathers (2006) and as Dick Pabich in Milk (2008). Cross has also featured in Lincoln (2012), Mindhunter (2017) and Big Little Lies (2017). He studied at Columbia University.
