Biography
Julie Payne is an American actress and voice actress. She was born on 11 September 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She studied drama at Santa Clara University and French at San Francisco State University, and was a member of the improvisational comedy group The Committee in San Francisco from the late 1960s until 1974.
Payne has appeared in feature films including This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Rain Man (1988), Misery (1990) as Reporter #1, Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) and American Wedding (2003). Her television credits include recurring roles in The Wonder Years, Beverly Hills, 90210, Curb Your Enthusiasm and voice work as Liz Wilson in the Garfield animated series. She received a 1979 Drama Logue Award for her stage performance in Ormer Locklear and was married to actor and songwriter Richard Reicheg.
