Biography
Karina Fernandez is a British actress. She graduated from Drama Centre London and is an instructor at City Academy, London.
She is best known for her collaborations with director Mike Leigh, appearing in Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) as the flamenco teacher, Another Year (2010) as Katie, and Mr. Turner (2014) as Miss Coggins. Other film roles include Stella in Pride (2014), Eleanor Marriott in The Sense of an Ending (2017), and Olive Schreiner in Miss Marx (2020).
On television she has appeared in Killing Eve (2018) as Sharon, House of the Dragon (2022), and Twenty Twelve. Fernandez began her theatre work in 1997 and has performed in productions including Shakespeare plays and Woody Allen's Murder Mysteries.
