Biography
Katherine Green is an American television writer, producer and director. She began her career writing for comedian Bob Hope before moving into sitcoms.
Her writing credits include episodes of Taxi (1978), for which she also served as story editor, Cheers (1982), Married... with Children (1987), on which she wrote 18 episodes and held multiple producer roles, The Drew Carey Show (1995) and Dave's World (1993). She created the series Rachel Gunn, R.N. (1992) and Women in Prison (1987), and directed one episode of Married... with Children.
Green holds a BA in Journalism and History from the University of Oklahoma. She later wrote children's books.
