Biography
Kathrine Windfeld was a Danish film and television director. She was born on 21 August 1966 in Copenhagen and died on 6 February 2015.
She graduated in direction from the National Polish Film School in Łódź in 1995 and held an MA in film production from the Northern School of Film & TV in the UK. Windfeld directed episodes of the series The Killing (2007), Wallander (2005), The Bridge (2011), and Rita (2012). Her feature films include The Escape (2009) and Hamilton: In the Interest of the Nation (2012). She also directed the Swedish series Kronprinsessan (2006).
