Biography
Keith Forsey is an English composer, songwriter, record producer and musician. He began his career as a drummer and percussionist in the late 1960s, later working extensively with Giorgio Moroder and appearing on several Donna Summer albums.
Forsey co-wrote the Oscar-winning song "Flashdance... What a Feeling" for the 1983 film Flashdance. He contributed music to the soundtracks of Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and The Breakfast Club (1985), and produced several albums by Billy Idol, including Billy Idol (1982) and Rebel Yell (1983). He has received Grammy Awards for his work on film soundtracks.
