Biography
Kelly Matsumoto is a film editor. Her early credits include assistant editor on The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993) and editor on The Mummy (1999). She also worked as additional editor (uncredited) on the latter.
Matsumoto has edited several entries in the Fast & Furious franchise, including The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), F9 (2021) and Fast X (2023). Other editing credits include The Mummy Returns (2001), Van Helsing (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Star Trek Beyond (2016) and The Meg (2018).
She has received three award nominations, including two from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.
