Biography
Kerry Ehrin, also credited as Kerry Anne Ehrin, is an American screenwriter, showrunner and producer. She began her career as a writer and co-producer on the series Moonlighting and The Wonder Years in the late 1980s.
Ehrin has worked extensively in television as a writer and producer on series including Friday Night Lights (2006), for which she received Writers Guild of America nominations, Parenthood, Bates Motel (2013), which she developed and ran, and The Morning Show (2019). She was the first writer to sign an overall deal with Apple TV+ and developed and ran the first two seasons of the latter series. She has also written screenplays for the feature films Mr. Wrong (1996) and Inspector Gadget (1999).
Ehrin was born on 8 October 1960 in Los Angeles, California. She has received Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including for Outstanding Comedy Series for The Wonder Years and Outstanding Drama Series for Friday Night Lights, along with multiple Writers Guild of America nominations.
