Biography
Kim O. Nguyen is a television and film director. Born in Vietnam and raised in Chicago, she began her career as a writer for The Onion and as a writer and director for MTV.
She has directed episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2020), Fresh Off the Boat (2019), Superstore (2021), The Other Two (2021), Never Have I Ever (2021–2022), Mr. Mayor (2021), Boo, Bitch (2022), True Story with Ed & Randall (2022), Welcome to Flatch (2022–2023), With Love (2023) and Survival of the Thickest (2023–2025).
Nguyen made her feature debut with the comedy Prom Dates (2024), released on Hulu. She also directs commercials and sketches.
