Biography
Maggie Carey is an American film and television director, screenwriter and producer. She was raised in Boise, Idaho, and earned a BA in English literature from the University of Montana and an MFA in film production from the University of Texas at Austin.
Carey wrote and directed the 2013 feature film The To Do List. She has directed episodes of numerous comedy series, including Silicon Valley (2014), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2019), Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Barry, Love and The Last Man on Earth.
She was previously married to actor and comedian Bill Hader.
