Biography
Adam Countee is a television writer and producer. A Georgetown University graduate (class of 2003), he began his career writing for the sketch comedy group Handsome Donkey before moving into scripted television.
His writing credits include episodes of Community (2010–2012), The Mindy Project (2012–2013), Silicon Valley (2016–2017), Vice Principals (2016–2017), Run (2020), The Shrink Next Door (2021), History of the World: Part II (2023) and Severance (2025). He has also worked as a producer on several of these series and received Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series (Silicon Valley, 2016 and 2017) and Outstanding Drama Series (Severance, 2025).
