Biography
Matt Warburton is an American television writer and producer. Born on 7 February 1978 in Strongsville, Ohio, he studied cognitive neuroscience at Harvard University.
He worked as a writer and co-executive producer on the animated series The Simpsons from 2001 to 2012, contributing to eleven seasons and winning a Primetime Emmy Award in 2003. He later wrote for Community (2009) and served as showrunner and executive producer on The Mindy Project (2012–2017), collaborating extensively with Mindy Kaling on that series and later projects including Four Weddings and a Funeral (2019), Champions (2018), Never Have I Ever (2020) and The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021). His other credits include writing and producing on Saved by the Bell (2020) and Velma (2023).
