Biography
Lachlan Milne is an Australian cinematographer. He is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), the New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS) and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
Milne grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, around film sets; his father was a director and his mother an editor. He began working in the industry in the early 2000s and has collaborated repeatedly with director Taika Waititi.
His feature credits include Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), Minari (2020), Love and Monsters (2020), The Inspection (2022) and Next Goal Wins (2023). On television he shot four episodes of the third season of Stranger Things (2019) and served as lead cinematographer on the fourth season. He received a Critics' Choice Award nomination for his work on Minari.
