Biography
Larry Fong is an American cinematographer. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in linguistics and from the Art Center College of Design with a film degree. He began his career shooting music videos, including R.E.M.'s 'Losing My Religion', before moving into television pilots and episodic work.
In 2004 he served as cinematographer on the pilot and several episodes of the first season of Lost, earning an American Society of Cinematographers Award nomination. He joined the American Society of Cinematographers in 2011 and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2012. Fong is known for his collaborations with director Zack Snyder, including 300 (2006), Watchmen (2009), Sucker Punch (2011) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). His other feature credits include Super 8 (2011), Now You See Me (2013), Kong: Skull Island (2017) and The Tomorrow War (2021).
