Biography

Lee Joon-dong is a South Korean film producer. He is the younger brother of director Lee Chang-dong and began his career as production manager on the director’s Oasis (2002). He has since produced or executive-produced several of his brother’s films, including Poetry (2010) and Burning (2018).

Lee is CEO of Nowfilm and Pinehouse Film. His other credits include A Brand New Life (2009), Never Forever (2007), Hwayi: A Monster Boy (2013) and A Girl at My Door (2014). He has received Asia Pacific Screen Awards for A Brand New Life and Burning. In 2019 he was appointed director of the Jeonju International Film Festival. He is also credited as producer on the forthcoming Possible Love (2026).
