Biography
Lee Magiday is a film producer. She has worked as a producer at Element Pictures and founded her own company, Sleeper Films.
She produced The Lobster (2015) and The Favourite (2018), both directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. She was associate producer on The Guard (2011).
Magiday received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture for The Favourite and has been nominated for or won several BAFTA and British Independent Film Awards for her work on these films. Earlier in her career she held roles in acquisitions and production at Focus Features, PolyGram Filmed Entertainment and Universal Pictures International.
