Biography

Lee Percy (born 10 February 1953) is an American film editor. A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, he trained as an actor at the Juilliard School before turning to editing.

Percy has edited numerous feature films, including Reversal of Fortune (1990) and Boys Don't Cry (1999). He has collaborated repeatedly with director Barbet Schroeder on films such as Single White Female (1992), Kiss of Death (1995) and Murder by Numbers (2002). His other credits include Re-Animator (1985), Maria Full of Grace (2004), Snowden (2016) and The Mountain Between Us (2017).

In 2009 he received two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Limited Series or Movie, for the television films Taking Chance and Grey Gardens, winning for the former.
