Biography
Leila Farzad is a British actress. She was born in Westminster, London, on 30 December 1981 to Iranian parents. She studied modern languages at Worcester College, Oxford, graduating with a BA in French and Italian literature, before training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Farzad began her career with voice work on the animated series Peppa Pig. Her early television appearances include Law & Order: UK and the anthology Innocent. She gained wider recognition for her role as Naomi Jones in the Sky Atlantic series I Hate Suzie (2020–2022), which earned her a BAFTA Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Her film credits include Talia in The Marvels (2023). She has also appeared in Avenue 5 (2020), Landscapers (2021), KAOS (2024), The Decameron (2024), and as Marnie in the series How to Get to Heaven from Belfast (2026). Stage work includes productions at the Bridge Theatre and Shakespeare's Globe.
