Biography
Leonard L. Thomas is an American actor born on 31 August 1961 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Howard University in 1983 and began his screen career in the late 1980s.
Thomas first appeared in Spike Lee's School Daze (1988) as George Patton. He has taken supporting roles in several other Lee films, including Do the Right Thing (1989), Mo' Better Blues (1990) and Malcolm X (1992), as well as Bad Lieutenant (1992) as Cop #2. He has frequently worked alongside Samuel L. Jackson, appearing in more than twenty films with him and sometimes serving as his assistant.
His other credits include A Time to Kill (1996), The Negotiator (1998), xXx (2002), Coach Carter (2005) and Black Snake Moan (2006), together with television appearances in This Is Us. In 1990 he married actress Iris Little-Thomas.
