Biography
Lisa Zeno Churgin is an American film editor. Born on 20 January 1955, she graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in English and began her career as an assistant editor on films including The Warriors (1979) and Raging Bull (1980).
Her editing credits include Dead Man Walking (1995), Gattaca (1997), The Cider House Rules (1999), The Wedding Planner (2001), In Her Shoes (2005), Pitch Perfect (2012) and The Old Man & the Gun (2018). She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for The Cider House Rules and a Satellite Award nomination for House of Sand and Fog (2003).
Churgin has been a member of the American Cinema Editors and served as president of the Motion Picture Editors Guild since 2002.
