Biography
Liz Hannah is an American screenwriter, producer and director. She was born in New York City in 1985.
Her breakthrough came with the screenplay for Steven Spielberg’s The Post (2017), co-written with Josh Singer, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Screenplay and a Writers Guild of America Award. Subsequent credits include the screenplays for Long Shot (2019), All the Bright Places (2020) and Lee (2023), on which she also served as executive producer. She co-created and wrote the limited series The Girl from Plainville (2022) and has contributed teleplays to Mindhunter and The Dropout.
