Biography
Liz Kingsman is an Australian comedian and actress born in Sydney. She studied English and History at the University of Durham in England, where she began performing sketch comedy, and later worked as a runner and stand-in on film productions including Thor and The Invisible Woman.
She first gained attention in comedy as part of the improv trio Massive Dad and with her solo theatre show One Woman Show, which premiered in 2019 and later transferred to the West End; it earned a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award and the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play, as well as the Times Breakthrough Award at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards. Kingsman has also written and appeared in short films such as Down from London.
Her acting credits include roles in the television series Ballot Monkeys (2015) and its spin-off Power Monkeys, Parlement (as Rose Pilkington), Hijack (as Sheena), The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin (as Baroness Von Louth, 2024), Starstruck and F1 (as Lisbeth Bampton, 2025). She appears as Jane in Practical Magic 2 (2026) and as Shapiro in Project Hail Mary (2026).
