Biography
Lloyd Turner was an American television writer. Born on 14 August 1924 in Winnemucca, Nevada, he began his career in animation at Warner Bros. Cartoons in the mid-1940s before moving into television writing.
He contributed to animated series including Crusader Rabbit (1949) and The Bullwinkle Show (1959–1963), and later wrote for live-action sitcoms such as Get Smart (1965), The Partridge Family (1970–1974), All in the Family (1971) and The Jeffersons (1975–1977). He also wrote one episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970).
Turner died on 30 November 1992 in Jackson, Oregon.
