Biography
Lou Lombardo (1932–2002) was an American film editor, producer and director. He edited Moonstruck (1987), directed by Norman Jewison, as well as The Wild Bunch (1969) for Sam Peckinpah and several films for Robert Altman, including McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) and The Long Goodbye (1973).
Born in Missouri, Lombardo began his career as a cameraman in Kansas City before moving to Los Angeles. He worked on more than twenty-five feature films and also directed Russian Roulette (1975) and produced Up in Smoke (1978).
