Biography
Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian pianist and composer. Born in Turin on 23 November 1955, he trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan and studied with Luciano Berio.
He began his career as a classical composer before incorporating elements of pop, rock, folk and world music. Einaudi has composed scores for films including This Is England (2007), The Intouchables (2011), Nomadland (2021) and The Father (2020), as well as the television miniseries Doctor Zhivago (2002). His music features on several solo albums, among them I Giorni (2001), Nightbook (2009) and In a Time Lapse (2013).
