Biography
Malcolm Barrett is an American actor. Born on 22 April 1980 in Brooklyn, New York, he graduated from Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan and studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
He has appeared as a series regular on the Fox sketch comedy series The Sketch Show and the sitcom Luis. Barrett played Dr Lem Hewitt on the ABC series Better Off Ted (2009–2010) and had a supporting role in the film The Hurt Locker (2008). He has had recurring appearances in the Law & Order franchise and guest roles in series including The Sopranos, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office and Monk.
From 2016 to 2018 Barrett played Rufus Carlin in the NBC series Timeless. He has also appeared in Larry Crowne (2011) and later series such as The Boys and Gen V.
