Biography
Manning Redwood was an American actor. Born in New York City on 16 February 1929, he appeared in supporting roles in several films and television series from the 1970s onwards.
His film credits include Forest Ranger 2 in The Shining (1980), Lowell in Outland (1981), Harry Weiss in Shock Treatment (1981), General Miller in Never Say Never Again (1983), Bob Conley in A View to a Kill (1985) and Lieutenant Sterns in Death Wish 3 (1985). On television he played General Leslie Groves in the 1980 mini-series Oppenheimer and Stoker in Jeeves and Wooster (1990).
Redwood lived in London before moving with his wife Kay to Norfolk in 1986 and later to Surrey. He died in Surrey on 9 July 2006.
