Biography
Marc Ceccarelli is an American animator, director, producer and writer. Born on 4 January 1968 in Bakersfield, California, he has worked primarily in television animation.
He is best known for his contributions to SpongeBob SquarePants (1999), on which he has been credited as a writer, storyboard director, showrunner and executive producer. He has also written for Phineas and Ferb (2007) and Uncle Grandpa (2013), and developed the spin-off series Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years (2021) and The Patrick Star Show (2021).
Ceccarelli shared a 2018 BAFTA Children's Award for International Animation and a 2018 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Series, both for SpongeBob SquarePants.
