Biography

Marcelo Zarvos is a Brazilian composer and pianist. Born in São Paulo in 1969, he began studying classical music in his teens and trained at the Berklee College of Music and the California Institute of the Arts, from which he graduated with a BFA in Music in 1992.

Zarvos has composed scores for numerous films and television series. His credits include Wonder (2017), Fences (2016), The Equalizer 3 (2023), May December (2023) and the series The Diplomat (2023). He has collaborated repeatedly with directors including Antoine Fuqua and Todd Haynes. He is married to actress Janel Moloney.
