Biography
Mark Scruton is a British production designer. He was born on 23 April 1975 in the UK.
He began his career in art direction, serving as supervising art director on films including Gravity (2013) and Ready Player One (2018). He has worked as production designer on The Informer (2019), Pennyworth (2019–2021) and The Pigeon Tunnel (2023).
Scruton is known for his collaborations with Tim Burton as production designer on the Netflix series Wednesday (2022), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award, and the film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). He has received additional awards and nominations from the British Film Designers Guild, the Set Decorators Society of America and the Art Directors Guild.
