Biography

Miles Millar is an Australian-British screenwriter, producer and showrunner. He has frequently collaborated with writing partner Alfred Gough since they met at the University of Southern California.

Millar and Gough created the series Smallville (2001) and Wednesday (2022). Their feature credits include the story for Spider-Man 2 (2004), the screenplay for Shanghai Noon (2000) and its sequel Shanghai Knights (2003), and the screenplay and story for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024).

Millar was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge, and the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC.
