Biography
Martin Nicholson is a film and television editor. He is credited as editor on three episodes of the HBO series Deadwood (2006) and on the follow-up film Deadwood: The Movie (2019), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Limited Series or Movie.
Nicholson has edited episodes of several other series, including Game of Thrones (2011), Marco Polo (2014), The Alienist (2018), Project Blue Book (2019–2020), 1883 (2021) and A Small Light (2023). Earlier in his career he worked in sound editing on feature films such as Top Gun (1986) and Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), and held associate editor and other editorial department roles.
