Biography
Martin Semmelrogge is a German actor. He was born on 8 December 1955 in Bad Boll, Germany, and is the son of actor and director Willy Semmelrogge. He is the brother of actor Joachim Bernhard, who appeared in Das Boot (1981) as the religious sailor.
Semmelrogge is best known for his role as the Second Watch Officer in Wolfgang Petersen's Das Boot (1981). His other film credits include Schindler's List (1993), Bang, Boom, Bang (1999) and Torpedo: U-235 (2019). He has appeared in numerous German television series, including Alarm for Cobra 11: The Motorway Police (1996) and Scene of the Crime.
