Biography
Matt Doran is an Australian actor. Born Matthew James Doran on 30 March 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales, he trained at the Australian Film and Television Academy, graduating in 1991 after winning awards for best performance and most improved student.
He first gained prominence in Australia playing Damian Roberts in the soap opera Home and Away from 1991 to 1996. His film credits include Private Coombs in The Thin Red Line (1998), Mouse in The Matrix (1999), Elan Sleazebaggano in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), and roles in The Great Raid (2005), Macbeth (2006) and Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan (2019).
