Biography
Matt Gray is a British cinematographer. Born on 23 January 1967 in Yorkshire, he has worked extensively in television drama.
His credits as director of photography include the series Vigil (2021), Gentleman Jack (2019), Liar (2017), Mr Bates vs The Post Office (2024) and Hostage (2025). He also shot the unaired pilot episode of Sherlock (2010) and episodes of Broadchurch.
Gray is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
