Biography
Matt Lawton is an American television writer and producer. He wrote an episode of the sitcom Community (2009) and served as co-producer on the series. He later wrote multiple episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013) while working as producer and supervising producer on the show.
Lawton has also written for Superstore (2015), The Great North (2021) and other series including Death Valley (2011) and MAD. His earlier credits include segment producer on Crank Yankers.
